Outside, there is a spectacular infinity pool and jacuzzi, with never-ending views across uninterrupted rolling countryside to the old town of Ronda.This unique property in Andalusia also offers personal assistance and customer service. There is daily cleaning and delicious meals can be provided on request. Helpful, discreet housekeepers are on site and are constantly available for extra help, if required. ‘Cortijo El Rasero’ is ideal for the ultimate relaxing holiday, set in a totally peaceful secluded surroundings. Ronda is 15 minutes’ drive away, Seville 1 hour and 45 minutes and the beaches and coast 55 minutes.

Large oak front doors open to an airy, high-ceilinged hallway, with hand painted floor tiles. To ones right, is a spacious drawing room with an open fireplace, comfortable sofas and armchairs, immaculately decorated in soft tones. Doors open out from here to the outside dining terrace and garden. On the ground floor is also a comfortable sitting room, with sofas, a coffee table, bookcases and a large flat-screen television, showing Spanish channels. All the furniture has been chosen with care and taste.The dining room is the centrepiece of the house, decorated in typical Andalucian blue and with a vaulted-glass roof atop the double height space. The modern, well equipped kitchen has a fridge/freezer, microwave, an oven and electric hob and a double sink, with plenty of work-surfaces and a television.The breakfast table with high chairs seats eight. Doors open out to the terrace and pool area.Downstairs there are four elegantly styled double bedrooms, with hand-carved wooden bed frames and built-in wardrobes. There is shared bathroom per two bedrooms, both with marble floors, a bath and shower, wc, basin and bidet. On the ground floor there is a further small cloakroom with wc and basin. The washing machine and dryer are housed in a separate room.On the first floor there are two large bedrooms, both with built-in wardrobes and their own bathrooms. One of the bathrooms has a free standing bath, wc, bidet and basin, and adjacent is a sauna room. The other bathroom is on-suite and has a shower, Jacuzzi bath, wc basin and bidet. One of the bedrooms has and patio doors opening out to balconies on two sides. The other bedroom has a balcony that looks out over the courtyard. This bedroom also has a small adjacent bedroom, suitable for a child. Also on the first floor is a home cinema/music room with sofas, a day bed, an extensive DVD collection, a big screen for watching films, and a state-of-the-art music system.The seventh bedroom is in a pretty cottage, called the “casita”, close to the house. The wood-beamed double bedroom has mountain views and an en-suite bathroom with a large shower, wc and basin. Downstairs there is a kitchenette with a fridge and a 2-burner hob, as well as a large seating area with tables, especially suitable for fondu evenings. The house is surrounded by immaculately kept lawns, with old olive trees, jasmine, willow and potted palms. To one side is a spacious covered terrace, which can be accessed by the kitchen and living area. There is a large dining table, seating up to 20, a lovely place for alfresco dining, looking out to the pool and the fields beyond. There is a built-in barbecue and a pizza oven to one side of the terrace. Furthermore there are comfortable rattan sofas and day beds to dream away with a book.The pool measures 16 x 13 metres and has an overflow/”infinity” edge. A wooden bridge leats to a heated Jacuzzi in the middle of the pool. Sunbeds are placed on the grass surrounding the pool area and there is an outdoor shower. A path leads down through the garden to the helipad.
