About this Villa
“El Oasis” is an old farmhouse that has been completely remodelled with the vision to create a fine holiday home for families. The renovation has been very well executed to create a harmonious space which is delightful to behold. It is luxurious but not overpowering, with a cool meditative colour palette and natural fabrics everywhere.All bedrooms have air-conditioning and there is also a heating system throughout the house. The main house can accommodate 10 adults and 2 children in total. There is a small “casita” that can house another 2 adults plus 2 children. The house is only a ten-minute drive from “Ronda”. It is 1.5 hours driving to Seville and Málaga and 2 hours driving to Granada and Córdoba

From the enclosed courtyard double doors lead into a very large hall with a splendid staircase. In the east wing there are the main living areas of the kitchen, breakfast room,dining room and sitting room. All areas are interconnecting. The kitchen has a cooks’ stove with five gas rings and a double oven and a dishwasher. The pantry contains two fridges, a freezer, a very smart coffee machine and wine cooler. A central island can also be used as a breakfast table with stools. The dining room has a long table with built in seating and French windows that lead out on to the covered terrace.There are five double bedrooms, all with sumptuous king-size beds of 180x200cm. Three of the bedrooms are on the first floor. Above the living area is the huge master bedroom with the best views of the countryside. There is plenty of room for a supplementary bed if needed. There is also a capacious en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower, sink and toilet. Across the landing in the east wing there are two more bedrooms with a shared bathroom with a shower over a bath. Adjacent to one of these bedrooms is a library room with 2 sofa beds, suitable for children.The other two bedrooms are on the ground floor. In the east wing is a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. To the rear of the property is a lovely double bedroom with an armchair which can be pulled out to serve as an extra bed for a child. The room has French windows that give access to a private terrace and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. There is also a game room which has a table football, a long curling table, a smart TV and a sofa-bed. There is also a beautifully garden cottage, restored as a one bedroomed house. There is a bedroom with a double bed, an armchair and an open fireplace. The bedroom is separated from the sitting room by a low wall. There is a TV and a sofa-bed that can accommodate two children. This “casita” has its own kitchen with a round wooden dining table and chairs, as well as a private bathroom. Between the two wings of the house there is a large courtyard which can be entirely closed off from the garden if required, to restrict access to the swimming pool. Large wooden doors give access to the covered terrace which wraps around the house. There is a beautiful wisteria that offers shade throughout the summer and plenty of tables are provided for whatever configuration is required for dining. In the background is an ornamental pond and the garden is planted with local shrubs.Several steps lead down to the pool, which is on a slightly lower level. The saltwater pool has a unique curved shape and is about 10 x 4.5 metres with Roman steps. A pathway through the olive grove leads to a true football field complete with two goals and a good grass pitch. At the land of the property there are horses and donkeys (fenced away) as well as two farm-dogs (also fenced away). On request the dogs could be kept elsewhere.
